PIN-CH® for school furniture – a flexible and replaceable furniture glide system designed to support  maintenance.

PIN-CH® is an innovative system with replaceable, easy-to-install furniture feet developed to meet the needs of school caretakers, teachers, and students. It protects floors and contributes to a quieter classroom environment. The system consists of two parts: a holder mounted on the chair and a replaceable foot that clicks into place. When worn out or if the chair is moved to a room with a different floor type, only the foot part needs to be replaced – the holder stays. This means no need to replace entire chairs, send them off for repair, drill out rivets, or use special tools to change the old foot. The PIN-CH® foot can be popped off with a screwdriver and the new one clicked in – saving time and simplifying maintenance.

Searchable – easy to find and order

All parts in the PIN-CH® system are clearly marked and searchable online. Just google to find and order replacements. The system is designed to simplify inventory and purchasing processes.

Customizable – design that fits

PIN-CH® can be customized. If you want foot parts in a different colour than the standard to match the chair’s design or colour-coded school furniture, it’s easy to order.

Flexible delivery from furniture manufacturers

Furniture manufacturers can deliver chairs with the holder pre-mounted. Customers receive loose foot parts and can choose felt or non-felt versions depending on the floor surface. This means you don’t need to know the floor type at the time of ordering – a major advantage when chairs are being renovated or moved to a new location.

To ensure stable and efficient delivery capacity for our customers, we have invested in a new injection moulding machine. The new machine has a clamping force of 200 tons. With this investment, we are reinforcing our position and creating the conditions for continued growth. We are highly optimistic about the future and ready to meet our customers’ needs.

Ackurat has been awarded the "Innovation of the Year" prize at Möbelriksdagen 2025 for our in-house developed product series PIN-CH®. Möbelriksdagen is a creative meeting place for stakeholders and professionals in the furniture industry, organized annually by Interior Cluster Sweden. The award highlights the system’s ability to combine function, form, and sustainability in a solution that meets the needs of the future.

Möbelriksdagen brought the industry together

Möbelriksdagen 2025 offered a day full of insights, discussions, and new encounters. The program addressed current topics such as intellectual property rights, procurement, AI, and digitalization – with a focus on how the industry can simplify processes and create business value through collaboration and innovation.

Ackurat’s product series PIN-CH® is the result of long-term development with a clear focus on sustainability. The furniture foot series, suitable for both wooden and metal furniture, has been recognized for its smart construction, choice of materials, and adaptability. PIN-CH® furniture feet are easy to replace depending on the type of flooring or wear – relevant features for both today’s and tomorrow’s furniture production.

Five Awards Were Presented

During the evening’s industry dinner at Badhotellet in Tranås, five awards were presented to key players driving the sector forward. In addition to Ackurat receiving the Innovation of the Year award, contributions in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and export were also celebrated.
