Linda Hjertonsson is an incredibly versatile person with interests ranging from kayaking and gardening to being a skilled LEAN coordinator at Ackurat.
A career at ackurat offers opportunities for personal and professional development
Linda has had an exciting career at Ackurat, where she has previously worked in several different positions before taking on the role of LEAN coordinator/production planner. She humorously and joyfully recounts how she started at the company at the age of 18. Since then, she has worked in several departments such as production, warehouse, customer service, and purchasing. Linda is proud of how much she has developed at Ackurat and how many skills she has accumulated over the years.
An outdoor enthusiast and creative baking guru at Ackurat
Linda is not only a skilled LEAN coordinator at Ackurat, but she also loves to travel and discover new places. As the keen outdoor enthusiast she is, she enjoys kayaking from the time the ice melts until late autumn. She often packs a tent and other necessities to be able to camp on an island. “The foggy mornings of autumn are just wonderful when the colours change,” she says dreamily. Occasionally, she treats her colleagues to homemade apple pie with custard, “It’s usually appreciated!” she says with a laugh. The apples come from her own garden, where she also grows her own vegetables.
Education and personal development
Through Ackurat’s training program, Linda has had the chance to develop her skills and take courses in both LEAN and production economics, 5S, and production development. Quality development, process orientation, stable processes and integrated management systems are additional courses she has completed through XANO’s Production School, which is the Group’s own training program.
It is so important to keep learning new things, and it is really positive that Ackurat offers training on the job.
